*** OFFICIAL NOTICE: Nominations and Election ***
The nominations of officers for Local Union #326 will be held at the monthly meeting:
Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 5:00 pm
Lawrence Elks Hall, 652 Andover Street, Lawrence MA
Anyone wanting to be nominated must be present during the nominations or provide a written and signed statement that they will accept the nomination. No member may be a candidate for more than one office.
Nominations will proceed in the order of officers as listed in the IBEW Constitution whose term of office shall be 3 years. The order is as follows; PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT, RECORDING SECRETARY, TREASURER, BUSINESS MANAGER/FINANCIAL SECRETARY, (6) EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS, DELEGATE TO THE CONVENTION, and ALTERNATE DELEGATE TO THE CONVENTION. In order to be nominated a member must have a 2 year minimum of continuous good standing in Local #326. Good standing means that the member is current in the payment of dues and has been for the 2 years preceding the nomination.
The Election of officers will take place between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 7, 2022 at the Lawrence Elks Hall, 652 Andover Street, Lawrence MA.
The ballots will be counted immediately following the closing of the polls and the results
will be announced immediately after the counting of the ballots.
Absentee ballots will be available to any member upon request to our Election Judge:

Such requests will be accepted until 12:00 pm (noon) on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Anyone receiving an Absentee Ballot will not be entitled to vote at the polls without first presenting the Election Judge with their unused ballot, secret ballot envelope and the official, pre-addressed envelope used in the mailing. Absentee Ballots received at the Private Mail Box after 12:00 pm (noon), on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, will not be counted.
Please note:Candidates will be entitled to an observer at the polling location and during the counting of ballots. Observers may not interfere with the orderly procedure of the election. There will be no campaigning or electioneering at the polls, nor within 50 feet of the polling location. No postings except for instructions will be permitted at the polling location.
